About Elana
Elana Lipkin (they/she) is a co-founder of Making Mensches, an anti-zionist, queer, radical Jewish spiritual organization that centers Jewish education and community building. They love everything green, being with trees, and their two sweet cats. They received their BA in Sociology and Women's Gender and Sexuality Studies from American University in 2019 and her Masters of Science in Social Work from Columbia University in May 2022. Elana is a queer, abolitionist social worker who presently works full-time as a social worker on a mobile crisis team with folks who are currently unhoused and have serious mental illnesses. She also organizes with Survived and Punished NY. They celebrate radical Judaism and how powerful radical, queer Jewish community is, and they will always fight unequivocally for a free Palestine.
