Gabriel (he/him) is thrilled to be a part of the Beloved Garden. Between his fourth and fifth year as a cantorial student, Gabriel is starting to sow the seeds of creating Jewish community that is invested in earth and our neighbors. Gabriel learned about caring for the earth at his childhood synagogue in the San Francisco Bay Area, learned how to pray as a Jewish outdoor educator at Isabella Freedman Jewish Retreat Center, and developed as a spiritual leader while at Hebrew Union College. Gabriel has also spent time studying as a Hadar Young Adult Fellow, and created a prayer zine as a chaplain at the SF Night Ministry. He is often found on a hiking trail, making challah, or making music with friends.
