Serach/Aleria Sarra (she/her) is an artist, activist, writer, weaver and dreamer. She is currently on the Board of Directors at Kol Hai, a shul rooted in Jewish Renewal and she is a previous Board Member at The Shanti Uganda Society, fostering maternal health and education in Uganda. She was a Principal Investigator on Bonding Through Bars, an international research project on women with lived prison experience and their children and she was a Knowledge Leader at the Centre for Environmental Health Equity. She has worked as a journalist for various publications and was the Associate Producer of Shout, a weekly newsmagazine show on PrideVision TV.
